Two things:

1. Mark Bittmen had a great item in the Times a couple weeks back that the
science has basically reached the definitive point (what Ms Brezezinski's
vaguely referencing around the midpoint of the segment) that there is a
direct correlation between sugar and diabetes, on par with smoking and lung
cancer. I'm with Mr Delfin: argue if you want about the law and its
implementation, but something has to happen, and if there's no movement on
the federal level, at least Bloomberg is pitching.

2. A search for Ms Brzezinski's name returns nothing on our Google archive,
so I'll say it here: every time I see her in clips from that mid-market
morning zoo wannabe, I think to myself, "She's too damn good for that
place." Put her and Soledad O'Brien together, and I'd be figuring out a way
to watch that show.
