Eh.probably not. According to your linked article, Downton got 24million *cumulative* viewers for this past season, up from 17million in the previous one. For comparison's sake, Walking Dead (granted, the top ratings-earner on cable over the last couple of years) is averaging about 11-12million per *episode* on a down week. Downton has been doing very well for a PBS show, but probably won't compare favorably with very many mainstream cable/network shows.
