I agree with Kevin that a political conversation show does not have to be a skin-crawling idea, but I also agree that it is extremely unlikely that CNN at this point could ever do a version of that show that does not make your skin crawl. NewsHour has found a way to have a regular segment like that which is usually tolerable and often informative, though even they are too locked into pro forma disagreement.
