The Burbank Leader reports that the building now known as the Burbank
Studios will be taken over by iHeartRadio, Clear Channel's audio service
that provides streams of terrestrial radio stations (both CC and other
owners, including Cumulus, college radio stations, the Christian music
K-Love and Air1 and public radio stations WNYC NY and KCRW LA) and
Pandora-style custom streams (which now offer news, weather and traffic
updates inserted by locality, something Pandora doesn't offer and Slacker
only offers to premium subscribers, and only national newscasts from ABC
and ESPN Radio)--the 10-year lease will start when NBC moves "Tonight" to
NY, the news department and "Access" to Universal and "Days" to Sony (?)
next year:

CC's LA cluster, including ratings leaders Top 40 KIIS "Kiss FM" and
right-wing talk KFI, is already located in the Pinnacle building across the
street and one of the former NBC studios could be converted into a
iHeartRadio theater for live performances that would be streamed on the
service, according to a quote from the real estate company that now owns
the space.
