Maybe not "a ten- or fifteen- minute edit", but once cable came along with a lot more time to fill, longer highlights packages became more common. Brad mentioned the NFL on Sunday nights, where ESPN put together an hour-long highlights show to precede their Sunday night games. Now that NBC has Sunday nights, they do something similar. ESPN had the time to do an hour of baseball highlights every night during the season, and I think you'll find similar hockey programming on NBCSN. -- -- TV or Not TV .... The Smartest (TV) People!
