The landscape is very different this time around.  There's every 
possibility that Netflix, Hulu or Amazon would be interested in picking up 
Futurama.  And of course, there's still Adult Swim - they could stand to 
break up their MacFarlane-heavy early block, and Futurama might make a 
welcome return.

Or maybe I'm just a crusty old fool waiting for the Sunset Squad robots to 
arrive.  Either way, Futurama managed 7 seasons, it's in weekend 
syndication and will probably find a rerun home somewhere on cable - that's 
no small accomplishment for a show so steeped in genre humor.
