It was only market 151. There are more exotic locales that are smaller
markets, such as Rapid City (RIP Tom), Lima, OH, Bend Oregon, and Juneau
AK.
Not to mention Glendive, MT, the smallest TV market there is.
Although Morgantown is officially in the Pittsburgh market, if our intrepid
anchor wants to return home, the Clarksburg/Weston market is #170 -- with a
choice of two news stations covering the four network affiliates.
(FYI, the only smaller in-state market is Parkersburg at 193, where Gray
Television just added CBS and Fox LD affils to complement their mainline NBC
station. Perhaps there's an on-air opening at WTAP for Fox Parkersburg News
at 10. It wouldn't hurt to send a tape.)
