This has been helpful, thanks.  My feeling, based on what I can get already via
Hulu and what I might get in addition via Hulu + is that Netflix streaming will
make more sense for me.  What overlap there is between the two services in
content that I want to watch tilts toward Netflix.

That said, I might find out in 2, 3 or 6 months time that I either don't use it
much or have effectively watched everything that would be streaming only.
Whether I do or not, I will keep my 2 DVD/month plan, mainly for the obscure
stuff I like that isn't on streaming and/or has extras.

In a bit of semi-related serendipity, a friend of mine just published a piece
for The Oregonian on the 'cord-cutting' setup he and his wife use.  I put
'cord-cutting' in quotes for reasons that will be obvious once you read it.

He includes a sidebar for specifics on his equipment and alternatives.
