Kennedy is shilling her autobiography. In it, she tells a story about
meeting Michael Jordan in 1995 when she was 23.

Now I'm going to be the first one to admit that "90s TV Star Hawks
Autobiography" is a story that barely qualifies for this board. But I'm
posting it because of the Jordan angle. If you're not a sports fan, you may
not know this: Jordan is compulsively competitive. I mean "break out the
DSM-V beta criteria" level of competitive. The second most popular
conspiracy theory about NBA commissioner David Stern* is that Jordan's 1993
"retirement" was actually a cover for Stern wanting to suspend Jordan for a
hellacious gambling scandal. Add to that him having a reputation of being
spectacularly ruthless, and I think Deadspin's lead on this item says it
best:

"The best thing about all the 'MJ is a shit' stories is that, knowing what
we know about him, every single one is plausible. There's not a tale that
could make you sit up and say, 'No way, Jordan couldn't have been that much
of a jackass.' Today's is a good one."

New York Knicks
