"Orange is the New Black," the dramedy from "Weeds" creator Jenji Kohan
about a Brooklyn hipster tossed into the joint for having a relationship
with a drug runner (played by that cute little Laura Prepon from "That 70s
Show"--who, lest we forget, was last playing Chelsea Handler as a
twentysomething on "Are You There, Chelsea?"), won't be unveiled to the
public until its first season dump release from Netflix on Tuesday, but the
streamer has already renewed it for a second season, which is either
confidence or sheer craziness on Netflix's part:

While on the plug route last week, Prepon was proclaiming how "new and
fresh" the show is--which is interesting, considering that "Women in
Prison" and "Prisoner Cell Block H" have already covered the
babes-behind-bars waterfront from different ends (and "Orange"'s pilot
supposedly contains a shout-out to "Oz").
