The man who saw "American Idol" get worn down by "The Voice" is now in
control at the studio that produces "The Voice," Warners' cable and
unscripted shingle Warner Horizon (of course, one has to realize that
Darnell turned down "Idol" and it only got on Fox because of Rupert
himself):

Darnell will also be in charge of the "Bachelor/Bachelorette" franchise,
"Deon Cole's Black Box" (which Warner Horizon produces with Conaco), the
reboot of "Whose Line?" and some other shows and will probably bring his
favorite producers to the studio and see if there are other outlets for his
brand of outrage besides Fox.
