The soapy dramedy from Marc Cherry and trophy producer Eva Longoria about Latino maids to the rich, which got some controversy from some Hispanic activists smelling stereotypes (despite the fact that the writing staff includes Latinos, one of them a Facebook friend of mine), picked up by Lifetime after ABC turned it down, has been renewed for a second season:
