I am seeing this part: "Starting with its 2016 theatrically released feature films, new The Weinstein Company and Dimension Films titles will be made available for Netflix members to watch instantly in the pay TV window on multiple platforms..." Which makes me think the exclusivity only begins in 2016, and would not cover current and past Oprah-porn films like The Butler. These are the kind of deals Netflix has been preparing itself for - I kind of thought they would be moving faster on this, but presumably they have to wait for the deals to ripen. It will only take a few films like "The Help" or "The Blind Side" for Netflix to get a huge subscription bump. And while I have not seen these numbers, I would bet that the 'churn rate' (I think that is what they call it, or something like that) is lower for Netflix than it is for something like HBO.
