Blame the recent Disney treatment of Baum's magical land to some extent, 
and the planned 3D reissue of MGM's chestnut next year, but we've already 
had Syfy spring for *Warriors of Oz*, an actioner apparently; CBS picking *
Dorothy*, porting the characters and concepts to a modern-day medical 
investigation unit possibly also inspired by *House*; and now NBC announced 
a pickup for something called *Emerald City*, without much detail...

Futon Critic only lists a comedy with the latter title that's not gotten
