Well, folks, MTV can still sell music: After last night's reunion of Justin Timberlake with his former buds from 'NSYNC on the Moonmen, it was not just Timberlake who enjoyed a download spike at Amazon and iTunes (as you would expect), the boy band's back catalog made impressive jumps in sales at both online retailers and although 'NSYNC is out of what for most Top 40 stations these days is a very limited timespan for their oldies playlist, I can easily see both the "Hits of the 90s and Today" and the increasingly up-tempo adult contemporary stations deciding that maybe people want to listen to that band again:
