I detested the original Arsenio show - just hated it. I would rather watch
Leno host a talk show than Hall. If his current show is ten steps backwards
from that, then he is so far in the rear of acceptable television that I
could not see it now with a telescope.

I watched the original only when I had to (for me that meant when Magic was
on, and when my brother and sister, who loved him and went pretty regularly
to tapings, were potentially going to be on screen for a micro second).
