The contestant application for "Million Second Quiz," NBC's unsuccessful (in ratings terms) attempt to create a pre-fall premieres live event, contained some personal questions that are not that surprising, especially considering that game shows these days are more "cast" than just Monty Hall's assistants pointing at audience members to go on the "Let's Make a Deal" Trading Floor--but what may be surprising is that NBCU is planning to use the information for research purposes, something that Mr. Goodson and Mr. Todman never thought of back in the day (and Goodson would probably not give that information to a network for any amount of money):
