The grungers who have worn their alleged artistic integrity like a badge have licensed 48 of their songs for use by Fox Sports during its World Series coverage and an Artist of the Month feature on Fox Sports web sites--they claim that it's because they're baseball fans (and supposedly leader Eddie Vedder and Joe Buck are buds), but you know that the Rockist blogosphere (including Jim DeRogatis, son of former NBC football analyst Al, on his blog and "Sound Opinions") will be screaming :"sell out!" and "hypocrites!" over this:
