The best way I can describe what I remember is that there was some talent to the writers and performers without any sense of sketch structure. They also repeated any successful sketches with minor changes, but the same punch line/payoff show after show. There is at least one sketch on YouTube - I just did a search and there are lots of sketches on YouTube. If you're too young to have seen Fridays when it was on TV and are interested in the DVD set to see Larry David and Michael Richards at the outset of their careers, watch some YouTube sketches before you buy. -- -- TV or Not TV ....
