The difference between DC and Marvel is that Disney/Marvel gives the people 
who actually write and create the characters an active role in the media 
projects, whereas Warners/DC relies on traditional Hollywood studio types. 
It also doesn't help that the people who run the comics end of things -- 
Dan DiDio, Geoff Johns, and Jim Lee -- really don't have a clue as to how 
or why their characters work. If Warners had any brains, they'd turn the 
franchises over to Bruce Timm, Paul Dini, and Brad Bird and stand back.
