It's intriguing that they chose Gas Money as the game to play, since in
theory it's an easier game to play for a big amount.
For those that don't know, Gas Money presents the contestant with 5 car
prices. One is the price of the car, the other 4 hide money amounts from
$1,000 to $4,000. If you go all the way, picking the 4 WRONG prices, you
win the car plus $10,000. The catch being that if you pick the car
price, you lose any money accrued (you an stop after each pick).
Today's prices were:
$157,300 $141,550 $163,655 $152,295 $146,770
A fair set-up but still a crap shoot.
Lifetime results of Gas Money: 8 wins and 60 losses. So not a gimmie
game to win.
