I've been watching Craig's reruns the last few weeks while Jimmy was in reruns. Boy, there's so much about Craig and his show that I love, but when he gets a running gag, he runs it into the ground. Every night, a joke about the non-existent band behind the curtains. Every night, the Kraftwerk routine. (Almost) every night, the "you're a racist" bit with his producer. Last night I had planned to return to my Fallon routine, but I taped Craig instead because a friend was in the studio audience. And for his first show back after a two-week break, all the same bits were back. He's so clever and so involved with his guests, but his comedy routines can almost make Letterman seem fresh. -Tim
