I'm torn about this, and not because of the actor or his condition. In general the series started slowly, leaned on too many sitcom tropes to establish the characters, and set up a genuinely hokey concept for why the characters are doing Modern Family-style confessionals. But given time, I feel like the characters and relationships are finally starting to find a footing, and some of the writing has been very clever. I do wish they'd done more with the newsroom setting - I know this wasn't intended to be a workplace comedy, but you don't dig for gold and leave it sitting on the floor of the mine.
Also, no Wendall Pierce on my TV each week makes me a sad panda...even if he is only playing a pale, corporate imitation of Antoine Baptiste.
