Yep, the long-passed Fox drama, of which physician Juergen Schaefer is a *big* fan... the facility where he works near Frankfurt specializes in unfathomable conditions not unlike the fictional one near Princeton, NJ... f'rinstance, when he saw a heart failure patient in 2012, he quickly recognized it as resulting from cobalt poisoning ultimately from a degrading hip replacement, much as befell House's eventual mother-in-law in an episode of the show... what he doesn't have in common with Laurie's character is the snooty attitude nor borderline addiction to narcotics...
