Having caught up on the US House of Cards, it's an incredibly good show, but undeniably worse than the UK House of Cards. Much worse. I'm conflicted that I enjoy the show as long as I can somehow repress all memory of the original. Forget about the real FU and his real Lady Macbeth wife. Forget the squirmy Stamper because it a US tough-guy Stamper is an easier villain. In short, if I could afford to get totally sh*tfaced while watching the Netflix version, I'd like it a lot more than I do.
