When I was a teenager, I actually dreamed (and sketched) an idea of a 13-episode series based around the shit going on my life that would stand alone. No pressure to try to go beyond it: just 13 parts to a story.
So either I was preminiscent at the age of 16, or NBC has now sunk to the ideas of a mildly-abused, horny, and rejected 16-year-old. You pick.
