David Garrison is now a New York City stage regular, and I saw him a few
weeks ago playing a supporting role in the City Center revivial of "Little
Me." He now wears glasses and has a head of gray hair, so he's pretty much
unrecognizable from his "Married With Children" days.

On Saturday night I went to the 92nd Street Y for a wonderful concert of
1920s and '30s jazz/pop standards and obscurities (sung by some great
Broadway singers backed by Vince Giordano and the Nighthawks). Garrison was
the director. After the show, as I waited around out front for a friend who
was in the cast, I saw Garrison walk out. "Nice job, sir," I said... and he
gave me a puzzled how-the-hell-do-you-know-who-I-am stare.
