I can't see anyone else taking over the "@midnight" format, any more than
I can see someone taking over the "Colbert Report" format. Unless you
meant moving the entire "@midnight" show up a half hour? I made a joke on
Facebook a couple days ago about it becoming "@eleventhirty."

About a year and a half before "@midnight" premiered, I went to a pilot
taping of a potential Comedy Central midnight show that was Paul F.
Tompkins hosting comedians in a roundtable discussion about the day's
pop-culture news -- it was excellent, and I definitely wouldn't mind
seeing CC going back to that (assuming PFT is available).
