OK. I heard the outtake that has him in hot water, where a London tabloid
considers it damning evidence of his racism. Except he didn't use the
n-word in the outtake. He mumbles it deliberately so the word isn't used,
and in the take that ultimately aired on Top Gear, the word "teacher" was
used.

I'm the first to campaign for the ousting of anyone who utters racist
profanity or any form of hate speech. Hell, I had a lawsuit filed against
me (since dismissed) by a singer I was a fan of when I took her to task on
social media after she went apesh*t on a stage. Clarkson didn't use the
n-word. He went to lengths to avoid using the word, and in the end it was
decided to just air a version that didn't include even a mumbled utterance.

This isn't like Michael Richards, or even the owner of the Clippers, where
audio surfaced of them using the n-word or other racial invectives. This is
an outtake that shows Clarkson trying to NOT use the word when reciting the
limerick "Eeny, Meeny, Miny, Moe" (when I was a kid, the word that was
substituted was "tiger," not "teacher").

Sorry, kids, but the Mirror (and Piers Morgan) have wanted a piece of
Clarkson's hide for some time now. I just don't think they've got him this
time.
