Copied and pasted from thewrap.com, with commentary: Monday: 8:00 p.m. “Dancing with the Stars” 10:00 p.m. “Castle”
In what could be "DWTS"' last stand. Tuesday: 8:00 p.m. “Selfie” (new) Hey, this sounds like a natural for fall 2019 syndication: Karen Gillan plays a social media star whose friends are more virtual than real. No indication if Gillan will attempt an American accent or if there will be references to the TARDIS. From the creator of the cancelled "Suburgatory." One-camera. 8:30 p.m. “Manhattan Love Story” (new) A one-camera romcom where we discover the inner thoughts of the characters. Yippie! 9:00 p.m. “Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” 10:00 p.m. “Forever” (new) Ioan Gruffudd (another Brit!) plays an ME who does Quincy because--he's immortal. OoooEEEoooo.... Wednesday: 8:00 p.m. “The Middle” 8:30 p.m. “The Goldbergs” 9:00 p.m. “Modern Family” 9:30 p.m. “Black-ish” (new) The latest attempt to get a hit out of "Modern Family"'s lead-in stars Anthony Anderson as a buppie trying to install black pride in his assimilated family. Laurence Fishburne plays his father, Larry Wimore's showrunning initially (until, of course, he replaces Colbert on Comedy Central at 11:30), it's one-camera. 10:00 p.m. “Nashville” Thursday: 8:00 p.m. “Grey's Anatomy” 9:00 p.m. “Scandal” 10:00 p.m. “How to Get Away with Murder” (new) Thursday night's Shondaland at ABC, with her newest show, a mystery with Viola Davis as the black Castle (you thought I was going to say Jessica Fletcher?). Friday: 8:00 p.m. “Last Man Standing” 8:30 p.m. “Cristela” (new) Latina comic Cristela Alonzo's multi-cam Mexican-American family comedy replaces the beings from another world of "The Neighbors," although Tim Allen's "Last Man Standing" character would probably have his gun ready if she moved into his neighborhood. 9:00 p.m. “Shark Tank” 10:00 p.m. “20/20” Saturday: 8:00 p.m. “Saturday Night Football” Sunday: 7:00 p.m. “America's Funniest Home Videos” 8:00 p.m. “Once Upon a Time” 9:00 p.m. “Resurrection” 10:00 p.m. “Revenge” As reported previously, Tom Bergeron's last year witnessing the crotch shots of "AFV," although the show could probably go on with even Brooke Burke-Charvet hosting. Mid-season backups: MARVEL'S AGENT CARTER--Hayley Atwell's character from the Captain America movies gets her own show, which will probably air Tuesday nights to spell its stablemate "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." GALAVANT--Since we all remember how big "Cop Rock" was, here's a musical one-camera sitcom from "The Neighbors" Dan Fogelman (with Alan Menken writing the music) set in a fairy tale land of knights and princesses and games of thrones. I guess it's a one-hour show, since it will spell "Once Upon a Time" on Sundays. -- -- TV or Not TV .... The Smartest (TV) People!
