I'm not as enamored with Holmes as the author is, but I appreciate the weirdness that cuts through his interviews (he probably sat down with more athletes and musicians than anyone outside of Arsenio). I also agree with the point about Holmes' monologue - its different, which can go a long way regardless of how good it might be on a given night. While I don't care for how often Holmes breaks during bits and interviews, it never strikes me as obnoxious in the way that Mr. Fallon *continues* to do. I'll note that this article says new episodes will run through June 5, so perhaps there will be a couple of weeks of repeats before TBS shifts to whatever comes next.
