Kevin Reilly says he's quitting as Fox entertainment chief of his own 
volition and not because he couldn't get "Idol" to turn around this season 
or anything else:

Scuttlebutt seems to be that his replacement will be from outside Fox and 
not either COO Joe Earley or FX chief John Landgraf (and Tim Goodman in a 
THR analysis says that Landgraf shouldn't walk away from his channel for 
his own sake)--Reilly himself will probably land elsewhere, whether it be 
broadcast, cable or online:
