In case anyone is keeping score, I would like to be counted among those who is pleased that Arsenio is being cancelled. I did not like his original show, and I found the reboot (the few times I sampled it) to be a pale and tired retread of that. I would very much like to see an African-American presence in the late night talk show universe, and am looking forward to what I anticipate will be a much more successful venture coming soon to CC, but there is something seriously wrong in the world if Arsenio is seen as the best example of that.
