I’m not an attorney, but I can’t imagine this show getting off… the ground.

Andy Cohen is looking to expand his empire. The host of Bravo's Watch What
Happens Live and exec producer behind The Real Housewives franchise is
developing an unscripted series with the title I Slept With a Celebrity, The
Hollywood Reporter has learned.

I don't see there being a legal problem. Celebrity has become such a catch-all
term that the celebrity a guest had sex with is someone you never heard of.
Plus most people who achieve celebrity are only in the spotlight for a brief
period in their lives and the show could recruit former sex partners from
before or after the spotlight years when the celebrity name had no value.

I think the challenge for the show is how they verify the guest and "celebrity"
had sex.

Well, that’s sorta the point of my comment.

Suppose some guy falsely claims he had a one night stand with Tom Cruise. Do
you think Cruise isn’t going to sue the show?

Threats of lawsuits do keep projects (a lot less obviously problematic from a
legal standpoint) from going forward.

The show will have to have a special line item in its budget for legal fees to
address this type of problem.

I enjoy Andy, but I think this is one idea of his that’s never going to make it
into the Bravo lineup.
