The alternative media company, which includes among its holdings a weekly 
series on Time Warner-owned HBO (which follows "Real Time" on Friday 
nights--Bill Maher is a trophy producer on the series), as the much bigger 
media conglomerate is kicking its tires for a major stake in the company 
(after 21st Century Fox bought a 5 percent stake in the company last 
year)--can Vice continue to be considered independent if they're under the 
same umbrella as Dougie Zucker and Newt Gingrich?  Will Amy Goodman not 
interview anyone from Vice if they become part of the "corporate media?":
