20-years-ago tonight, the murders of two people took place, and the subsequent trial that resulted captivated the attention of the entire world and were covered wall-to-wall on every channel on TV. For those of you who don't know, my connection to this message board began back then, when I wrote daily updates on the OJ trial which I shared on the internet, and befriended a young whipper-snapper named Aaron Barnhart, who wrote late show news updates at that same time. There were no such things as blogs back then, but Aaron and I were blogging, and frankly there weren't too many others doing it back then, so we got to know each other. Aaron created his "TV Barn" which became "TV or not TV," and the rest -- as they say -- is history.
Beginning in a couple of hours, I'll be live-tweeting a sort of timeline of what took place 20-years-ago. I was going to create a whole series of Twitter accounts, one for each of the people associated with the "Trial of the Century," but the prospect of making all the posts align and fit and not be overly macabre was too daunting. So if you search for the hashtag #thisdayinOJ, starting at around 5pm, you can relive what took place that night, all the way until the police arrived on scene. https://twitter.com/iPadGoober -- Kevin M.
