Unlikely for a male to be cast in any event -- assuming they do the
original Mary Martin version. Peter sings in a number called "Mysterious
Lady" that was written to show off Martin's coloratura range. Unless they
want to go to Shakespearean extremes -- a boy playing a boy playing a girl
-- they'll stick with a female Peter -- the tradition of which goes back to
the Barrie original with Nina Boucicault in the West End Maude Adams on
Broadway in 1904 and 1905.
