How come all the buzz is about the departure of the "Also Featuring" players that nobody recognizes, and I've seen hardly a mention about the reported news that Nasim Pedrad is also not returning, at least in part because of her new NBC sitcom this fall?

Usual house-cleaning of people who didn't make an impression. Jenny Slate was one-season (and she also dropped the F bomb in her first appearance) and she's got a rising career. Sarah Silverman only lasted one season. Damon Wayans got on Lorne's shitlist for improvising and started his own sketch comedy show with his brother (Jim Carrey and Jamie Foxx were on that show, in case you forgot). Casey Wilson got on a cult sitcom and will be on what may be the only new NBC sitcom with a chance of being a hit. And Robert Downey fights for his rights with repulsor rays.
