I don't know Kiefer Sutherland, but one incident makes me sympathetic to him. A then unknown Andy Samberg was shooting a comedy video in Los Angeles, very low budget. I think it was just a guy with a handheld consumer video camera. The scene involved someone beating up a woman. They were shooting it on a sidewalk and of all the cars whizzing by, the one that stopped was Kiefer sutherland, who was ready to kick some ass. then they pointed out they were just filming a bit. Samberg told the story and showed the clip on Letterman.
