After that documentary a few years ago I actually developed some grudging respect and empathy for Joan Rivers. She is a trooper and a trailblazer, and now a survivor, and she is still out there doing it, and that is something.
But in the last year or so she has either started to show signs of dementia, or has started to let her true self come out, and it is not very attractive.
