Can we convince Dave that after he signs off, when things like this happens, he's willing to come back and do just 10 minutes? Like just bump Colbert back to 11:50 like NBC would do with Carson during Wimbledon and let Dave be Dave and talk us all down in a manner that I don't think another human being on television can?
