Was I the only one disappointed in the season premieres of both Simpsons and Family Guy? There were a couple good lines in The Simpsons, but Family Guy felt like it had already been done before. I kept watching thinking, "that's not a new joke."

I agree. I don't watch Family Guy except for the Star Wars
special episodes, but did watch for the crossover.
Compared to Simpsons, it was poorly written, vulgar
and violent, but maybe that what Family Guy
is supposed to be.
