Setting aside the guilt or innocence of Rev Camden for a moment, among MacFarlane's assortment of characters in the Family Guy pantheon is Herbert, a pedophile, a character MacFarlane so enjoys that he made him Ben Kenobi in the Family Guy Star Wars parodies. I freely admit that I soured on Seth's work after he killed off Brian (yes I know he brought him back), but there seems to be, if not an irony, some sort of chickens coming home to roost for him at this point.
