Buuuuut, that's not what Man on the Street was. Allen's Man on the Street was highly scripted from what I've seen with Pat Harrington Jr and Don Knotts amongst others. Even so, what Eichner objects to is not people being interviewed, it's the demeanor of an antagonistic interviewer on the street. I see what he means having watched his show and the BK commercial. Dude got copied and he has a valid beef about the chicken nuggets in my opinion.
