The publicist for Jian Ghomeshi says the former CBC radio host has instructed his lawyers to sue the public broadcaster after the CBC announced it was parting ways with the “Q” host. Gomeshi’s lawyers — Dentons Canada LLP — said they have been instructed to file suit as soon as the courts open Monday morning. “The action will claim general and punitive damages for among other things, breach of confidence and bad faith in the amount of $50 million,” the company said in a news release. “Concurrently, Mr. Ghomeshi will commence a grievance for reinstatement under his collective agreement.” -- -- TV or Not TV ....
