I'm conflicted. I'm so sick of the Blackfish smear campaign I could vomit, but I also think that Ramsey is one of four or five celebrities most in need of a punch in the face. I'm not sure who to root against.
But, yes, there are other things to do besides Sea World. On the other side of Mission Bay from where Sea World is based, I'd recommend renting kayaks to go around the bay itself. Then there's Balboa Park and the Old Globe theater. The Hotel Del Coronado is a must see. There's also an aircraft carrier you can tour. And then there's also the world famous zoo and wild animal park, but the Blackfish extremists consider zoos to be evil too so I guess those aren't really options.
