In the 90s, Christine Cavanaugh became a frequent voice in animation in
seemingly no time at all, racking up credits on many TV series, including
Tommy Pickles' play pal on the Nickelodeon series "Rugrats," the
longest-running of the original three Nicktoons (even if it didn't have the
initial hype that "Ren and Stimpy" had), with perhaps her most famous role
being the title character in the film "Babe," that pig who wanted to be a
sheepherder--after a decade of constant work and some live-action work, she
dropped out of the industry in 2001 and never came back--she died on Dec.
22 (paid obit from LA Times):

To paraphrase James Cromwell, that will do, Christine--but it could've been
so much more.
