IIRC, the wording of the initial announcement about the interregnum went out of its way to describe this week as special "after dark" episodes of The Talk rather than The Late Late Show with the ladies of The Talk as guest co-hosts. I feel like there's probably something business-related in play with that decision, but I don't know what.
