A few years ago, I visited MoMA, where I saw a 6x6’ canvas painted blue. That 
was it.
 
Once home, I asked a friend of mine who’s an art teacher here in the local 
school district about the piece’s artistic merit. She said that sometimes it’s 
just about how well the artist can sell the piece and how receptive the public 
is to the promotion.
