Is that not just a radio with a remote control? Although they're mostly infra-red so need to be in line of sight of the radio.
Or you could get some kind of power-line smart plug. Then using a mobile app and wifi, control whether the whole socket that the radio is plugged into cuts out. Obviously that won't work with battery powered radios. And it's a complicated solution. I may be over thinking it!
